SubConnect is part of the Global Marine Group, a company with a legacy of over 170 years in both deep and shallow water operations globally. Offering a broad range of services covering the lifespan of a submarine cable system, GMG has the capabilities to meticulously plan, install, bury, store, test, locate, recover, repair and maintain subsea fibre-optic cables.

UJ & UQJ
SubConnect is an integral part of the Global Marine Group a founding member of the Universal Joint Consortium. We manufacture and provide our customers with all the piece parts required to install and maintain the UJ and UQJ, as well as offer UJ and UQJ industry standard cable qualification, testing and training, delivered by our highly experienced team at our head office in Chelmsford, United Kingdom.
Cable Services
As part of our cable services, we also have an industry leading cable test facility, where we can perform a variety of vigorous tests that simulate subsea environments. SubConnect also offers highly qualified personnel available to work worldwide. Our cable jointers and subsea equipment operators are fully trained and possess a thorough understanding of QHSE standards and expectations.
Introducing JADE
Our Jointing Automated Documentation Environment (JADE) software is endorsed by the Universal Joint Consortium (UJC). JADE has driven jointing consistency across all jointing teams, improving the presentation of jointing information and recording of key assembly stage parameters to improve the overall efficiency of the repair operation and provide the client with a fully auditable trail of joint information and timings.
